Lake Park, 2200 Lee Street, Des Plaines
Fall Fest, Des Plaines' favorite family-friendly festival, is back for the fifteenth year, with food, music, fun, games, and dozens of activities. Lake Park, at 2200 Lee Street, will once again be transformed into a lakefront wonderland where kids of all ages can ride the giant Ferris wheel and climb the rock wall, experience the carnival rides or take it easy in the petting zoo, chow down on corn dogs and feast on funnel cakes, and enjoy a variety of family entertainers as well as great local and national touring bands.

Center of Concern "Fighting the Loneliness Epidemic"

The Center of Concern invites you to join the fight against the loneliness epidemic. We are dedicated to addressing critical social issues like loneliness by integrating housing assistance, older adult services, and community engagement initiatives.
The evening will start with appetizers and networking at 5:30 PM, followed by an expert panel discussion and awards ceremony at 6:30 PM.

Make a splash at our middle school pool parties! Bring your friends for a fun-filled Friday night at the Prairie Lakes Aquatic Center. Participants will enjoy pizza and soft drinks before heading to the lap pool for lots of aquatic fun - including our awesome Wibit inflatables! All participants must be registered by 5:00p the day before each listed date. No day-of registration will be accepted.

Our family-friendly bike ride and celebration returns!
Riders of all all ages and experience are welcome to join us for a gentle 8 mile ride along the Des Plaines River Trail. Afterwards we will have activities, music, and refreshments.?

D62 Education Foundation Pickleball Fundraiser!

Are you interested in the newest indoor Pickleball facility in the northwest suburbs? Are you ready to show your pickleball prowess? Do you want to help support the 62 Education Foundation?
For $40 per participant you will be guaranteed 4 games of pickleball in a King of the Court style tournament.
Don't want to play but want to see what the pickleball craze is all about or or simply want to cheer on your favorite players. You are welcome to join the fun for a spectator fee of $15 per person.
Party rooms with bags, ping pong, music, and TVs will also be open to all spectators and participants
No racquet - no problem - we have extras available for use.
The bar will be open with drinks and snacks available for purchase.
