The evening will start with appetizers and networking at 5:30 PM, followed by an expert panel discussion and awards ceremony at 6:30 PM.

Everyone in the community is invited to attend! Food trucks, live music by South of Disorder (beginning at 5:30 p.m.), yard games, and more! We encourage attendees to bring lawn chairs and picnic blankets.
No alcohol is permitted on Park District property.
Grades 6-8
Make a splash at our middle school pool parties! Bring your friends for a fun-filled Friday night at the Prairie Lakes Aquatic Center. Participants will enjoy pizza and soft drinks before heading to the lap pool for lots of aquatic fun - including our awesome Wibit inflatables! All participants must be registered by 5:00p the day before each listed date. No day-of registration will be accepted.

Mark your calendars and bring the whole family over for a day of fun fire safety education. Explore fire trucks, meet our brave firefighters and learn life-saving safety tips at Fire Station 63 (130 E. Thacker). We'll have demonstrations, community organizations, family activities and more for residents of all ages.

- Car extraction demonstration
- Dive Team demonstration
- Technical Rescue Team demonstration
- Kids' obstacle course
- Live fire sprinkler system demonstration
- Des Plaines Park District's rock wall
- Free car seat safety checks and installations from the Des Plaines Police Department
- Fire truck, ambulance and specialty vehicle tours
- Fire safety education from real Des Plaines Firefighters

Our family-friendly bike ride and celebration returns!
Riders of all all ages and experience are welcome to join us for a gentle 8 mile ride along the Des Plaines River Trail. Afterwards we will have activities, music, and refreshments.?
Don't forget your helmet and water bottle!

For $40 per participant you will be guaranteed 4 games of pickleball in a King of the Court style tournament.
Don't want to play but want to see what the pickleball craze is all about or or simply want to cheer on your favorite players. You are welcome to join the fun for a spectator fee of $15 per person.
Party rooms with bags, ping pong, music, and TVs will also be open to all spectators and participants
No racquet - no problem - we have extras available for use.
The bar will be open with drinks and snacks available for purchase.
