Terrace
Terrace fifth graders in Mr. Becker's class learned a new way to solve division problems this week.
The students used graph paper to draw out different groups identified in the problem and then shaded the groups to help them solve it.
All of the students were given time to solve each problem by themselves.
Then Mr. Becker had the students share their answer with the class and they explained how they solved it.
The students repeated this process for a few problems and then they moved on to working in their math workbook.
