Fourth-grade students in Ms. Prost's class were excited to add different designs and colors to their music maker notes.

Each Year, Ms. Prost starts off by having the students create music maker notes, randomly selecting one each week.

The selected note is then posted on the classroom "Music Maker of the Week" board for all of the students to see.

The students started by collecting supplies from the front table and had the freedom to work in their seats, at a table, or on the floor.

The first thing the students did was write their names at the bottom of their notes. They then started to color them and create unique designs.

Once they were finished coloring them, they cut them out and were excited to show Ms. Prost and their classmates what they created.

The notes were very colorful and featured many creative patterns. One student decorated theirs with flags from different countries.

At the end of the class Ms. Prost thanked the students for showing safety, ownership, accountability and respect while they were working on their notes.

The students had a great time making their music maker notes and are looking forward to seeing who will be picked next week.
