Crochet Creativity at Terrace

Second Grade Teacher Ms. Katherine Schaefer, who runs the Crochet Club, said 36 students signed up for the club when it was announced!

As a result, Schaefer is offering three sessions which meet twice a week for three weeks so all of the students can be accommodated.

The students are learning the techniques of chain stitch, single crochet and double crochet.

The goal is for the students to make a hot pad.

Schaefer said she learned how to crochet from her grandmother when she was ten years old and she has always wanted teach others.
