Terrace
Terrace News is a student-led broadcast that is shown in classrooms each morning.
A rotating group of 5th graders write, film and edit the daily script which details the lunch menu, student birthdays and important reminders for the day.
The student crew also adds special segments such as Masterpiece Monday, Terrace Teacher Trivia, What is it Wednesday and a Friday Dance Party to kick-off the weekend.
Library Media Specialist Ms. Lisa Raczkowski, who oversees the club, said Terrace News gives students a personalized voice in the school.
Raczkowski said the Terrace News crew reminds the students each morning to “Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible!”
